Based in a charming village outside Edinburgh, Luci’s serves up Italian cuisine and cocktails in a setting overlooking the River Esk. Beyond its rustic stone walls is a sleek, minimalist interior with cheerful splashes of lemon yellow and a welcoming feel. Views of the river make for a relaxing dining experience.
Contemporary Mediterranean cuisine
Luci’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar offers up a range of beautifully presented pizza and pastas; classic Italian meat and fish dishes, and sharing platters.
Highlights are the paccheri pasta with crumbled Italian sausage, garlic, red chilli, porcini & pancetta; the San Danielle pizza with Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes & shaved parmesan, and a grilled lemon sole with pan-fried potatoes.
Veggies choices include wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil, while the sharing platters come in cured meat, seafood, Italian cheese and seasonal vegetable options.

Luci’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is a 30-minute drive from central Edinburgh and just over an hour from Glasgow. The stunning 18th century Mavisbank House is based in the village and is well worth taking a stroll past. As Kings Acre Golf Course, Edinburgh Butterfly & Insect World and the Pentland Hills Regional Park are all short drives away, you could pair a meal at Luci’s with a day out in the countryside.
