    The Broons

First visit to this restaurant and was very impressed! The Christmas decorations and lights were beautiful and the restaurant very welcoming and cosy. I had the confit duck which was probably the best I’ve ever eaten and my husband had the cod which was also perfectly cooked and delicious. This is a hidden gem and unfortunately may be overlooked due to its position.

Lovely place witha a great vibe

There's not an extensive menu but it's well thought through with very interesting combinations. I'd have happily eaten anything on offer. I need to find a reason to go back soon. PS the decor is amazing.

European restaurant in Finnieston

Le Petit Cochon is a wine bar and bistro in Glasgow’s hip Finnieston. Soft lighting, candles, fairy lights and exposed brick walls create a cosy and welcoming space. The restaurant serves European dishes, brunch and small plates. Its wine bar boasts an extensive selection and recommended pairings can be advised to be served alongside the dishes.

Brunch, main courses and small plates

The menu at Le Petit Cochon is divided into four sections: brunch, mains, desserts and small plates. The main courses take inspiration from around the continent, with dishes including lamb kleftiko, steak frites and chicken schnitzel. Those with a sweet tooth can tuck into treats like baked apple and raisin strudel and chocolate and cherry brownie.

The restaurant’s small plates can be eaten as starters, shared or eaten on their own with a carefully paired wine. The small plate dishes include three cheese croquettes with tomato and basil ragu, pickled fennel and truffle oil, and steamed mussels with white wine, basil and cream.

The brunch section of the menu includes full English and veggie breakfasts, eggs several ways, sourdough topped with feta and avocado, and croissant stuffed with bacon, gruyere and fried egg.
