About Loch Fyne Seafood & Grill Edinburgh

Scottish seafood on Newhaven Pier

Loch Fyne Seafood and Grill is a spacious seafood restaurant set in an airy, converted fish market on Newhaven Harbour. The building dates to 1890 and, over a hundred years later, fishing boats still operate from the harbour. On sunny days, guests can watch all the action from the al fresco dining area. Inside, the restaurant is decked out with wooden floors and furniture as well as striking artwork depicting scenes from Loch Fyne and other seascapes.

From oysters to lobster

From the rope-grown mussels to the Kinglas smoked salmon and the Loch Etive sea trout, the emphasis is on Scottish seafood at Loch Fyne Seafood and Grill. Dishes range from simple oysters to the magnificent seafood platter. The fish and chips – line-caught haddock or cod – are always popular.
More exotic choices might include the seafood tagliatelle or the Malabar curry made with roasted cod, king prawn, butternut squash, spinach and basmati rice. If seafood doesn’t float your boat, the more carnivorous choices include a range of Donald Russell steaks and an Aberdeen Angus burger.

Newhaven attractions and transport links
