About KRU

Hidden gem tapas and brunch

Tucked away above The Finnieston Bar and Restaurant, on the hippest stretch of Glasgow’s Argyle Street, Kru is an intimate space specialising in cocktails, brunch and small-plates. The decor is invitingly unusual. Neon, candles, an illuminated whisky collection and a roaring fire all add to the atmosphere. After work drinks, catch-up chats, cosy brunches and dates would all feel very comfortable at Kru.

Small plates and brunch

The ever fashionable small plates and a carefully selected range of brunch dishes make up the food menu at Kru. Scottish sourcing is very much to the fore in options such as the Isle of Gigha oysters, tortellini with langoustines from Mull and croquettes made with salted cod landed at Peterhead. Elsewhere on the menu there is a distinct Mediterranean flavour with Gordal olives, padron peppers and breaded Manchego all putting in an appearance. The brunch dishes range from smashed avocado on toast and a smoked salmon bagel to a full cooked breakfast served in a skillet. An inventive cocktail list is given equal billing with the food menu.

Finnieston transport links and attraction

Kru is above The Finnieston Bar and Restaurant on Argyle Street. There is limited on-street parking and several bus routes go to and from the city centre from outside the restaurant. Kelvinhall is the nearest subway. The SECC, Hydro and Kelvingrove Gallery and Museum are all within easy walking distance.
