    Great to be back!

    I understand this restaurant has been taken over, however the food, service and value for money were unchanged - perhaps even better? thoroughly enjoyed!

Stylish Merchant City Italian restaurant

Mediterraneo is an Italian restaurant located in the Italian quarter of Glasgow’s Merchant City. The restaurant is child-friendly, wheelchair accessible and caters for a variety of occasions with light lunches, pre-theatre meals, full evening dinners as well as larger parties or private functions.

A taste of the Mediterranean

The restaurant’s open plan kitchen adds to the lively atmosphere in Mediterraneo as guests can watch the chefs as they cook. The menu includes classic Italian fixtures ranging from antipasti to gourmet pizzas and pastas, to succulent Scottish beef and seafood dishes. Menu favourites include the veal Milanese, the mushroom risotto and the spinach stuffed monkfish wrapped in Parma ham.

With a Champagne and cocktail bar adjoining the restaurant, diners can opt to relax and unwind with a drink after their meal.
