First visit to my local restaurant
First visit and won't be the last. From opening the door to leaving, staff were very friendly and attentive. After ordering from pre-theatre menu we were advised that two nans were rather excessive for two people and one would be plenty. Which it was. We were thinking that pre-theatre meant small portions but not the case. Food was excellent and plenty of it. I certainly recommend and will return very soon.

Establish Indian restaurant in East Kilbride
Punjabi Tadka, was known as Atrium Court, is an established Indian restaurant in East Kilbride. It serves traditional Indian cooking with a warm welcome and is perfectly suited to dining with friends or family.
Experienced Indian chefs
The chefs user their great knowledge of Indian cooking to deliver an a la carte menu that is full of quality and authentic tastes. From the culinary crossover of the haggis pakora starters to the delights of Goan king prawn curry, the Punjabi Tadka delivers on taste.
Other starters include the machi Amritsari, a delicately spiced fillet of white fish lightly fried in a featherlike batter and, of course, the chicken tikka, marinated chicken barbecued to juicy perfection in the clay oven. Alternatively, the filled dosa, or lentil pancakes, and the poori, or deep fried chapatti will transport you to the belly pleasing surrounds of Bombay.
Popular main courses include the tandoori range, old faves like the bhoona and the chef’s selection which includes butter chicken and lalpari which is barbecued chicken or lamb prepared with red wine, red peppers, green chillies and fresh coriander.

Punjabi Tadka is best accessed via car or taxi. It has ample parking and is around a ten minute journey from East Kilbride train station.
