    West End, Glasgow

    Cuisine: British, Eclectic, European

    About The Botany

Close to the Forth & Clyde Canal, The Botany Bar & Restaurant has been relaunched from its previous incarnation, The Strathmore. The former 19th century working man’s pub now includes a graceful glasshouse dining conservatory with an outside terrace. Inside the bar area, the original brickwork is still intact with feature tiling and filament bulbs adding a retro-chic charm. The beautiful garden and surrounding parkland is so peaceful that you will soon forget that you are beside bustling Maryhill Road. The restaurant’s name is inspired by the nearby Botanical Gardens, which helped to establish the kitchen team’s vision of bringing a fresh, ingredient-driven menu to the Maryhill food scene.
